Renu Choudhary, Gem and Jewellery Consultant and Digital Creator. When passion meets dedication, magic happens!! Believing in this magic, I started my social media channel, 'The Diamond Talk' to promote gems and jewellery. It has been 5 wonderful years and today, it is a global family of 112,000! It gives me sheer joy to share the art, craft and diversity of different regions, beautifully expressed through their jewels, cuts and designs. My fascination with the world of gems and jewellery started with my roots in Jaipur. I am a 4th generation jeweller and a diamond graduate from GIA. I had my first work stint with Rosy Blue and the scintillating world of gemstones captivated me. It inspired me to share my know-how on a digital platform, giving birth to my social media page “The Diamond Talk” (Instagram) in 2018. Having always believed in creating value-adding content for my audience, I was fortunate to get the opportunity to travel to international gems and jewellery shows in the USA, Bahrain, Geneva, Italy, Dubai, Doha, Botswana, Riyadh, Munich, Idar Oberstein and Turkey. With a great response on my social media account, I later visited diamond mines, experienced pearl diving, expanded my knowledge and was always on the lookout to learn more and upskill myself. With these enriching experiences, I am privileged to have been interviewed and featured in jewellery, fashion and lifestyle magazines, both digital and print. I have also been a part of many juries for prestigious design competitions and have conducted workshops and seminars on jewellery and its history.
